Caitlin is an exceptional Audit & Assurance Assistant Manager at Deloitte. She graduated from the University of Surrey with a First-Class Honours degree in Business Management and joined the firm in 2020, following an industrial placement. Caitlin’s academic achievements are two ICAEW prizes, including first place in Business Planning: Taxation, with a perfect score of 100%. Hugo was born in Jersey and attended Bryanston School in England. He graduated with a degree in International Financial Services from the University of Buckingham. Working in finance from 2014, initially alongside his degree, Hugo qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2020.

Hugo joined BNP Paribas in May 2023 as an Assistant Manager working on one of the most complex Private Equity funds in their portfolio. This involves coaching team members, ensuring the day-to-day operations are running smoothly as well as leading various client projects and meetings.

Outside of work Hugo enjoys flying paramotors and taking his dog Lola for walks around Jersey.

Shiva is a Senior Client Accountant at Mourant Governance Services, based in the firm’s Jersey office.

Shiva is dedicated to delivering high-quality work to his clients. In 2017, he won first place at national level in Mauritius in the ACCA’s Professional Paper P3 Business Analysis exam and was awarded the ACCA prize for exceptional performance. He completed the ACCA qualification in 2021 to become a Chartered Accountant.

Despite his young age, Shiva has gained valuable professional experience by working with several renowned international organisations. When he’s not working, Shiva enjoys watching football and is a passionate supporter of Manchester United.

Clovie graduated in 2018, before embarking on a career in technology with Sky. She moved to Jersey, joining Standard Bank in 2021 as an Analyst, progressing quickly to Product Owner for Digital Onboarding. Clovie delivered a digital Mobile App authentication process for clients to ID themselves that’s been used 1.7M times in 18 months by our existing global customer base, saving clients 22500 hours.

Through an unwavering commitment to simplification, Clovie has also streamlined the new client digital onboarding process, challenging and eliminating unnecessary complexities and duplications for clients; proactively engaging stakeholders in the transformative journey on the Salesforce platform.

Henry has been in the finance industry for five years, joining Standard Bank Offshore as a banker in 2022, within the International Wealth and Investment team. He holds responsibility for servicing many clients across various African regions, and passionately delivers the highest level of service excellence for his clients. Further to Henry’s professional responsibilities, he enthusiastically supports local charities, showing both care and a commitment towards the Jersey finance industry meeting its Social, Economic and Environmental responsibilities. Henry regularly and willingly volunteers himself for fundraising events, most recently running the 2024 Paris Marathon, in aid of Motor Neurone Disease Association.

With a First-Class International Financial Services Degree, Megan joined Standard Bank as an Associate Wealth Manager in 2021. In this role, Megan completed the Investment Advice Diploma, receiving the Student of the Year Award. Megan was promoted to the role of Wealth Manager in 2023, taking responsibility for her own portfolio of HNWI across West Africa and delivering £30 million of new business in her first year. Regularly travelling into country, Megan enhances client relationships, delivering comprehensive wealth solutions. Complementing her professional pursuits, Megan serves as a Committee Member for the Jersey Banking Association and The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, focusing on the development of young talent within industry. Abigail began her career in Compliance in 2012, initially uncertain of her future. It quickly became clear she had a calling in compliance’s intricate landscape. After spending six years at the JFSC gaining valuable insights, she moved to JTC Group in 2022. In her short time with the business, she has grown and developed in her role, making a real impact on the businesses’ safeguarding, especially through overhauling the company’s compliance monitoring programme. Ultimately, Abigail is passionate about fostering a prosperous community through the power of compliance and continually strives to elevate the financial reputation of both JTC and Jersey.

Imogen Taylor joined Butterfield in 2020 and has been Senior Compliance Analyst since 2022. She was appointed Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer in 2024 and is also Deputy Data Protection Officer. Imogen responds to queries, coordinates monitoring, drafts procedures, and escalates risk matters. As Deputy MLRO she reviews disclosures, responds to law enforcement, conducts investigations, and reviews sanction alerts. She also looks after junior Compliance staff, providing training and guidance. Imogen studied at the University of Southampton, graduating with a BSc Honours. Since joining she has completed the ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance, and the Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering.

Ivan moved to Jersey from Bulgaria aged 22, driven by hunger for a new challenge. Despite limited English at the time, Ivan embraced hospitality, rising to become a Restaurant Manager. In 2022, he discovered a new opportunity, becoming an Officer at Alter Domus. It was a huge leap of faith, considering his lack of experience, but he has embraced the challenge, relying on his adaptability and passion for learning, which has and will continue to guide him through my career. Ivan’s time in hospitality meant that he learned excellent client care skills and is able to manage difficult situations in a calm manner.

Holding a degree in Business Management and Geography, Alexandra transitioned from sustainability marketing for a climate tech company to her current role as a Sustainability Consultant for True in Jersey. Alongside her professional work, she has been involved in global charity efforts in Kenya, South Africa, Ecuador, and Fiji. Locally, she leads the education program for Ocean Culture Life charity, engaging Jersey’s youth in marine conservation and the sustainable development goals, and is active in the COP26 Climate Educators Forum. Alexandra recently co-founded the Future Sustainable Finance Leaders, a volunteer group organising events to educate the finance industry on sustainable finance, and TekexGen, a not-for-profit aimed at connecting with and educating the next generation of entrepreneurs.

For three years, Matthew, along with a fantastic team, has been able to successfully create and manage KPMG’s Planet Pillar (ESG) and Sports Committee. KPMG has enabled him to pursue a successful career in finance but also allowed him to combine that with his passion for the environment and team sports. Matthew and the team have created various initiatives promoting and encouraging sustainable behaviour including organising a cross-island tree planting event, even during peak busy season. Organising company sports activities, from regular weekly events to charitable one-off tournaments, has improved internal relations, communication, and fostered a team-oriented ethos firm-wide.

Emily has worked within the Jersey financial services industry for more than 12 years with experience across various regulated and unregulated legal structures.

The majority of Emily’s career has been spent providing services to private equity fund managers with a focus on winning new business, proactively leading the onboarding process and subsequently providing an overall excellent client experience.

Emily completed her CGI – Level 5 Diploma in International Finance Administration in 2021 and went on to broaden her knowledge by completing an ICA Advanced Certificate in Practical Customer Due Diligence and an IFF Postgraduate Certificate in The Mechanics of Private Equity.

Having joined JTC in 2023 as a Senior Manager, Emily has very quickly integrated into the team and is seen as a future leader at JTC.

Lily joined a Jersey trust company as a Trainee Trust Administrator from school.

In 2020, aged 21, she joined VG to switch careers to HR and fulfil her passion for working with people. Without HR qualifications or experience but with ambition and determination, she started as a receptionist.

Quickly recognising her talent, VG promoted Lily to Trainee HR Administrator within six months and to HR Administrator in 2023.

In three years, Lily has created growth opportunities, completed the CIPD Level 3 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma in People Management, built trusted relationships and is now firmly established on a career in Human Resources.

Megan has worked in HR for four years and joined TMF Group in June 2023 as HR Administrator. She has since been promoted to Senior HR & Payroll Administrator.

Hailey has been with Rossborough for five years because of her positive client experience with the business. She really enjoyed the job from day one. Jay joined Polygon Collective (formerly known as Vantage) in 2018 and worked in the pension department. Jay worked closely with the insurance broking team, and it became clear that it was there that his interests lay. Jay was given the opportunity to join the insurance team in 2020, uncovering his passion for the private client sector. He enjoys the variety of his role and meeting clients from all backgrounds. Joshua joined Rossborough at age 19, shortly after completing his A-levels at Hautlieu and was promoted to a position within the private client team within a year. He enjoys dealing with people and helping them source solutions for their insurance requirements. Joshua has passed his Certificate of Insurance exams, which helps him give comprehensive technical advice to his clients and colleagues. Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym daily and travelling.

Ashley is an extremely passionate individual with over eight years of experience in the finance industry. Switching from a professional dancing career into investments demonstrates her drive, adaptability and love for learning. Prior to her current role in investment management, her career started in stockbroking where she developed an interest in investments and a passion for making strong and trusting relationships with clients. Diogo is a Premier Relationship Director with HSBC Expat, responsible for managing a portfolio of Global VIP, C-Suite and high-net-worth individuals. His support for his clients ranges across international financial planning, banking and wealth management. Born and educated in Jersey, Diogo studied in the US with a football scholarship before entering the world of finance. He started with HSBC in 2017 in the Contact Centre rising to a regulated Premier Relationship Director in 2021 having completed the CISI IAD and PCIAM exams.

Charlotte is an associate in Walkers’ Investment Funds & Corporate team, where she advises on a full range of transactional and advisory mandates. A home-grown success story, Charlotte first joined as part of Walkers’ bursary scheme in 2020, as a law student. She’s since qualified as a solicitor and been promoted to associate whilst working at Walkers, in recognition of her hard work, proficiency and talent. She is an integral part of the Jersey office, partaking in various firm initiatives, such as the CSR Committee, and was also key in authoring the Walkers’ Jersey Company and Funds Law Series articles.

Kieran is a highly regarded rising star in Mourant’s Funds team.  Kieran works with some of Mourant’s largest clients, including Arrow Global, CVC, L&G, TDR and UBS. Work highlights include working on CVC IX, the world’s largest buyout fund (€26bn), and BlackRock’s US$12.5bn acquisition of GIP.

Before joining Mourant, Kieran worked in-house at Porsche and trained at CMS. Kieran studied at the University of Bristol and NUS in Singapore, and he holds a Masters in Law, Business and Management. Yurii began his legal career in his home country of Ukraine. He graduated from West Ukrainian National University with a law degree and worked as a paralegal at a distinguished Kyiv firm. Following the outbreak of war in 2022, Yurii relocated to London and began working for Baker & Partners.

In 2023, Yurii moved to Jersey and enrolled in the Baker & Partners student scheme, studying for an LLB at the Institute of Law while continuing to work as a paralegal. During his time here, he has established the Jersey branch of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA), as well as being elected as president of ELSA UK.

A BSc Marketing graduate and member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (Diploma), Katy is a Marketing Manager with Aztec Group, and is responsible for driving go-to-market strategy and building and delivering lead generation campaigns. Katy’s main achievements in 2023/4 include: creating and implementing Aztec’s most successful ever campaign in Drive2Aztec (achieving an engagement rate of 70% in an industry where 10% is considered successful), playing an instrumental role in reimagining the Group’s Private Credit offering and spearheading the marketing strategy for the launch of Aztec’s Ireland office. Prior to joining Aztec since 2020, Katy was Marketing Lead at BPP.

Natalie joined JTC in 2019 and brings over six years of expertise in Business Development (BD) and Marketing. Natalie leads the events programme for the Institutional Client Services (ICS) division and is responsible for conferences, roadshows, webinars, exclusive dinners, roundtables and networking events aimed at raising JTC’s profile and enhancing the ICS division’s overall success. She is responsible for bringing together industry leaders, academics and subject matter experts to educate the industry on topics as diverse as ESG, private equity and listed funds. Natalie works closely with the digital team ensuring all marketing communications are automated to provide a seamless journey for the end user.

Following a career change, Adam joined Highvern 26 months ago with no industry experience. He’s worked in Jersey’s finance industry for just over two years and has achieved two promotions in that time. Adam plays a crucial role in Highvern’s new business and secretarial team, working closely with client directors and managers to onboard new clients and establish offshore structures for high-net worth individuals. He has recently taken on the responsibility of secretariat of Highvern’s Investment Governance Forum. Adam is also a key role model to new joiners, providing support and training to the more junior members of the team.

Edward joined Integritas in 2018 as Wealth Support Officer and was promoted in 2022 to the role of Operations Manager. Edward chairs the operating committee, spearheading innovation and operational improvements for the business.

Personal development is important to Edward. Outside of the working day, Edward successfully completed the Institute of Leadership and Management Programme, six-month course. He has now fulfilled the criteria to join the prestigious Institute of Leadership.

He also plays a pivotal role in the IT Helpdesk, identifying operational improvements to create greater efficiencies, including implementing a management process for onboarding new employees. Emma joined JTC with the Minerva acquisition in 2018 and is an Assistant Manager in JTC’s Jersey private client services team.

Prior to joining JTC, Emma joined Minerva in 2015 under the Jersey International Business School undergraduate placement scheme, enabling her to gain experience in the finance industry while obtaining a BsC Hons in International Financial Services. After graduating in 2017, Emma was offered the opportunity to join Minerva on a permanent basis, working within one of Jersey’s private client services teams.

Emma gained her STEP qualification in International Trust Management in 2019 and completed a further advanced certificate in Trust Disputes in 2022.
