About Rising Stars What is the Jersey Finance Rising Stars Awards?

As the voice of the international finance centre, Jersey Finance believes it is important to engage with and inspire the next generation of finance professionals. To reflect this, we are delighted to introduce the Jersey Finance 2020 Rising Stars Awards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our Members to reward and recognise the young Jersey talent within our international finance centre through a prestigious annual event, celebrating their successes and achievements.

Kate Wright

Kate Wright Director, Arbre Consulting & Co-Founder at The Diversity Network

Kate Wright has over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development and Diversity & Inclusion - both in house and as a consultant providing HR, D&I and coaching services to clients across a broad spectrum of industries in Jersey and the UK through her business, Arbre Consulting. Kate is passionate about facilitating and enabling change in the way we work in Jersey in order to make the business community a fairer, more accessible and inclusive place. In 2017, she co-founded The Diversity Network, a business networking group, with Sam Duffy and established a not-for-profit ethos that aims to actively facilitate change and progress in D&I across the local business community. Kate is also Vice-Chair of Women in Politics and a trustee of the Jersey Community Relations Trust.

Alexia McClure

Alexia McClure Chief Operations Officer, Jersey Business

Alexia is a member of the Senior Management Team and the Jersey Business Board and is responsible for the functions that underpin the operation of Jersey Business including strategy, marketing and communications, service development, finance, HR and IT. Alexia has extensive private sector experience having worked in the professional services industry in the UK and South Africa, including having established and run her own successful event management business. Alexia also has over 20 years’ experience of developing, managing and delivering business support programmes through business advisory positions in the UK’s Department for International Trade and Scottish Enterprise. Alexia is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the IOD and sits on the Diversity Network’s steering group and the Council of the Jersey Good Business Charter. She is also the Chair of Young Enterprise Jersey, a charity that enables young people in year 12 to open and operate their own business.

Stuart Penn

Stuart Penn Operations Manager, Skills Jersey

Stuart Penn is currently the operations manager at Skills Jersey and an inspirational speaker. His background is in coaching, mentoring and training having been a training advisor in casualty simulation and rehabilitation before moving to work in the education department in Jersey.
