Members can put forward their junior staff members (16-30 years old) for outstanding achievements in the categories below. This is a fantastic opportunity for Members to reward and recognise their company’s young talent, by showcasing their successes and achievements.
Rising Star in: Accountancy
This award is for part qualified or newly qualified individuals for their outstanding talent in accountancy and for those who have gone above and beyond in their attitude to the development and delivery of business strategy, with bottom line results that are beyond expectation.
Rising Star in: Banking
Recognise individuals from within any banking position, for their outstanding contribution to their organisation, the wider industry, community and who are poised to continue to make substantial contributions for years to come. These roles could include analyst, mortgage advisor, digital or customer facing roles.
Rising Star in: Compliance
Reward a colleague for their outstanding contributions to the development, understanding, or implementation of compliance, risk, ethics, and governance in their organisation. This person may have been nominated for their pro-activeness, their attitude to risk and their communication and problem-solving skills.
Rising Star in: CSR and Employee Morale
This award is designed to reward an individual showing evidence of having a positive impact through fundraising or volunteering for local charities, community projects, environmental initiatives or having an impact on employee morale within your organisations, whether this be through various internal committees or just being the point of contact for any team activities.
Rising Star in: Digital
A Rising Star in Digital is an individual whose attitude, flexibility and market awareness has helped to drive significant change and development with digital innovation, technology, and products.
Rising Star in: Diversity and Inclusion
This category is designed to recognise an individual who has demonstrated their positive role in advancing diversity and inclusion in their workplace. They inspire others with a sense of purpose, passion and commitment and are true ambassadors in this area for their company.
Rising Star in: Funds
This award is open to individuals working in a fund sector role within Jersey’s investment industry. This individual will be awarded for their overall achievements and work within the industry, which could include raising the organisations profile, of the organisation, mentoring or acting as a role model, or who have impressed colleagues with their desire to succeed and achieve excellence in the funds industry.
Rising Star in: Human Resources
This award is designed to reward an individual who has made an outstanding impact on their company’s people management strategy, demonstrating leadership, empathy, determination, and energy in implementing Human Resource business objectives.
Rising Star in: Investment Management
Through this award, you can nominate individuals within your organisation who, through their innovation and outstanding knowledge in their area of expertise, delivered excellent client relations and portfolio management.
Rising Star in: Law
Reward an individual who has made a continuous and outstanding contribution to the profession whether through their professional development, their support on a case of great significance to your organisation or through their ambition to strive to achieve success and results within the legal sector.
Rising Star in: Marketing
This award is designed to reward a bright, ambitious and exceptional individual whose contribution to their marketing team’s efforts has been outstanding, whether through their innovation, creativity or extraordinary use of marketing tools and resources to help drive significant change in their marketing function.
Rising Star in: Operations and Secretarial
This award is open to individuals whose time management, project management, analytical mind and attitude have helped create significant improvements to key business processes, while positively impacting on their company’s success. These roles could include receptionist, executive assistant, project manager or administration assistants for offices.
Rising Star in: Trust and Corporate Services
This award aims to reward a colleague for their outstanding delivery of exceptional client services to those operating and investing in the international business environment, demonstrating exceptional relationship management, and positively impacting the company’s success.
